Join Sean Layne, professional actor and national workshop presenter from the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as he guides participants in an engaging exploration of drama and literacy. This workshop explores a series of drama techniques designed to bring timelines to life. The strategies can be applied to timelines related to history, literature, or science. This work deepens connections to text, creates a context for reading and a springboard for writing.
Specific examples will be drawn from Lynne Cherry's book,
A River Ran Wild.
