For Teachers Grades 2-8
3 hour session

Timelines are excellent devices for helping students organize information and see connections. For many students however, the information provided in timelines is often abstract and difficult to comprehend. This workshop explores the theatrical technique of creating “living pictures” that will breathe life into static timelines and bring them to life. This strategy provides creative, controlled, low-risk dramatic experiences that helps students apply their knowledge and expand their understanding of specific moments in time. The techniques can be applied to timelines related to history and literature.
